| Celebrating our residents’ birthdays, meant
giving them a special present: an interactive dance
performance by the Anna Gonzalez Dance Theater. This
ballet troupe’s repertoire includes works with
Hispanic music and themes. Dance masks and audience
participation is an integral part of the dancers’
performance . Residents have a chance to share not only
their impression of the dance but to describe an image
they see while watching. Performers encourage residents
to help create new dance movements. The company has
been coming to Cobble Hill for several years and is
always one of the most popular therapeutic recreation
